We focus on fish, which is different from most of the grain farmers you see around here. Working with water is a whole different world. You have to watch the ponds constantly. Our group comes from the Nonrabilwai and Akhandnagar area. We are not big businessmen. We are just local people who know about fish. The office is really just a room where we keep our records and meet up to talk. Most of the real work happens outside at the water’s edge. Sometimes the smell of the fish is everywhere, but you get used to it after a while. We deal with the local markets in Akhandnagar mostly. It is hard to transport fish when it is hot, so we have to be fast. We do not have fancy trucks or expensive cooling systems yet. We just use what we have and work hard. Every morning starts early, checking the nets and the water. It is a practical life. We formed this company to help with the costs of feed.
