This group started in Dubeypur which is part of Sultanpur. Om Prakash Verma’s place is where we handle the main things for Kisanbajrang Seva Producer Company Limited. It’s a pretty simple setup. We are mostly busy with the fields and making sure the crops are growing right. Sultanpur has good soil but you still have to put in the hours. We aren't trying to be some big company with a lot of staff. It's just a few of us looking after the interests of the local farmers in the 228001 area. We don't use big words or have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the work gets done and everyone gets their fair share. The office is really just a desk and some chairs. If you come by, you might see someone drinking tea and discussing the rain. Life moves at a different pace in Uttar Pradesh. We deal with the seasons as they come. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes the market isn’t kind. But having this company helps us stay together. We just keep our heads down and keep working the land day after day.
