Drdp Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Manjhwara in Sultanpur. Most of the people involved here are local farmers from around the Mayan area. The company runs from Ramraj Singh’s place. It is pretty quiet out here. We mostly focus on what we can grow and how to manage the collective. It is not a big corporate setup. We just wanted a way to organize ourselves better. Farming in Uttar Pradesh has its ups and downs. Some years are good and some are very tough. We talk about seeds and tools. We meet up when there is time, usually after the main chores are done for the day. It is a lot of manual labor and keeping track of the seasons. Nobody here has a suit or a tie. We wear what we work in. It is about getting the crops to market without too much trouble. We have known each other for years. This company is just a way to make the paperwork official. If you're looking for us, we are right there in the village. It is a small community where everyone knows everyone's business anyway. We keep our tools ready and our eyes on the sky for rain. That is pretty much how it goes for us. Just working the land and staying busy with the daily tasks that need doing. It's a simple life but it's ours.
