Aliveagro Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated in Gauratikri, Sultanpur, right at Viswanath Karnawal’s place. We are a small group of farmers from this part of Sultanpur. Most of us have been working the soil since we were kids, so starting a company together felt like the next logical step. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a practical spot where we can get together and figure out our plans for the season. Sultanpur can be a tough place to farm sometimes, but being organized as Aliveagro helps us out. We deal with all sorts of crops and try to find the best ways to get them to market without losing too much. Viswanath helps keep things in order at the house. You might see a few tractors parked nearby or stacks of sacks waiting to be moved. We don’t have much time for fancy speeches or polished slogans. We’re usually too busy out in the dirt or checking on the animals. If you come by Gauratikri, you’ll find us easily. People here are friendly and we always have time for a cup of tea while we talk shop. The company is our way of making sure the farmers in our little corner of Sultanpur get a fair shake. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just make life a bit better for our neighbors and ourselves. It’s about the community and the food we grow right here in our own backyard.
