Travel Kashmir

Our office for Travel Kashmir is up on the second floor of the Mushtaq Complex. It is on New Barbar Shah Road in Srinagar, zip code 190001. If you are coming from the main road, you just look for the complex and head up the stairs. The stairs are a bit steep, so I usually take my time in the morning. Being on the second floor is okay because we can look down at the street and see all the cars and people moving back and forth. It gets noisy with the horns honking, but you get used to it after a while. Inside, it is just a regular workspace with some desks and a few cabinets for all the files we have to keep. We do not have any big signs or flashy lights inside. It is mostly just me and a couple of others sitting here with our computers. We drink a lot of kahwa during the day to stay warm when the weather turns. The New Barbar Shah Road area is pretty central, so there are shops nearby if we need to grab something for lunch. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out. We handle the tour stuff and talk to drivers most of the day. It is a straightforward job in a busy part of town. We have been in this building for some time now and it feels like home.
