You can find us in Iqbal Colony, Sonwar, right near the B B Cantt area in Srinagar. It’s a well-known part of town, and we have been here at The Jammu And Kashmir Bank Ltd for many years. The office is usually busy, with people coming in and out all day long. It isn't a quiet place, but it has a good energy to it. We deal with all sorts of people, from local shopkeepers to families. The building itself is sturdy and has seen many seasons pass. During the colder months, we keep the heaters going, and there is always a pot of tea somewhere nearby. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. We just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the lines get long, and we have to work a bit faster, but we try to keep our heads down and stay focused. We aren't interested in being the flashiest bank around. We just want to be the one that people in Sonwar can rely on. Being near the Cantt means there is always a bit of security and order in the area. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow and change, but our little corner in Iqbal Colony stays pretty much the same. It’s a familiar place for us and for the people who visit us every day.
