We are based at the Main Chowk in Nawab Bazar. If you have ever been to Nawab Bazar in Srinagar, you know it is a place that never really stays quiet. There are always people walking by and cars trying to push through the narrow streets. Our office for Shabahat Tours & Travels is right in the middle of all that action. It is a plain office where we do our daily work. We handle travel plans for people, which mostly means booking tickets and arranging for transport. We do not have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just help people get where they need to go. Working in such a busy chowk means we see a lot of things every day. We are just regular people who have grown up in this city and know how things work here. We do not use any marketing tricks to get customers. Most of the people who come to us are neighbors or people who have heard about us from their friends. We just take things as they come. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator, but that is just part of living and working in Srinagar. We are just an honest local business trying to provide a helpful service to the people in our community and those visiting from outside.
