You have to walk up to the top floor of the Saima Complex to find us. We are located in the Sathu Barbarshah area which is a place that feels very connected to the rest of Srinagar. Being on the top floor means we have a bit of a view of the rooftops and the sky which is nice when you’ve been staring at booking forms for too long. The stairs can be a bit much if you are carrying bags but it keeps us moving. The office itself is nothing too special, just a place where we keep our files and take phone calls about travel arrangements. We spend a lot of time discussing routes and making sure the transport is ready for whoever is traveling that week. It gets quiet sometimes in the middle of the day but usually there is someone coming in or out with a question about a trip. We don’t go in for big advertisements or fancy slogans, we just do the work as it comes. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very local way of running things and we like being part of this neighborhood. Most of the people who work here grew up around here so we know the shortcuts and the best ways to get things done. It’s just a plain office on the top floor where we handle the daily tasks of a travel business.
