Reliance Tour & Travels

Down in Maisuma Bazar, you can find the Dar Building where Reliance Tour & Travels is set up on the second floor. This part of Srinagar is always moving, and there is a lot of noise from the shops below. We are quite close to the Akhara Building, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. The office is simple. We have some chairs, a few computers, and a lot of notebooks. People come in from the market to ask about trips or just to say hello. Working in Maisuma means you are always in the center of things. We handle a lot of local travel stuff, mainly booking vans and figuring out hotel dates. It’s not a polished business with a shiny reception. It’s more of a place where we sit down and talk through the details of a trip. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve been here for a good while and the Dar Building is a familiar place for us. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick snack in the bazaar. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big marketing team, just us doing the work every day.
