Our office is in the Bhat Building which is right in the Art and Craft Bazar area of Lal Chowk. We are very close to the famous Clock Tower which is a place everyone knows. Being in the bazaar means it is always noisy and full of life with people looking at crafts and tourists walking around. The building itself has been here for a long time and our office has that old feeling to it. We spend our time here organizing travel and tourism things for people who want to see the area. It’s not a corporate environment at all, more like a place where we sit and talk about where the next group of people should go. We have a lot of papers and folders everywhere because we like to keep track of things the old-fashioned way. Sometimes the smell of the market comes in through the door and it reminds us of how busy this part of Srinagar really is. We don't have any big speeches about what we do, we just help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. It is a practical life and we enjoy being right in the heart of the city where everything is happening. Most days we are just busy with the small details that make a trip work out okay. It’s a bit messy and loud sometimes but it is our place and we like working here together.
