You can find our office over in Azad Colony in the Soura area, specifically on the 90 Ftroad. It’s a well-known road in Srinagar and it makes it easy for people to drop by when they are passing through. We work in the insurance business, which mostly means we spend our time talking to families and local workers about their plans. The office isn't very large, but we have enough space for a few desks and some chairs for visitors. Working in Kashmir, you learn to be flexible because things can change quickly from day to day. We try to keep things simple here without using too much jargon that confuses people. Most of our day is spent filling out forms or checking on claims for the people who live in Soura and the surrounding neighborhoods. It’s an honest job and it keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. Sometimes we have a lot of visitors at once, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually get through the paperwork. The 90 Ftroad is always full of cars and people, so there’s never a dull moment looking out the window. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and have become a regular part of the local scene. We just provide the information and let people decide what works for them.
