Khajawal Tours & Travels is located at 31 Polo View, right on Residency Road. It’s a well-known spot in Srinagar, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get work done. We handle a lot of different travel requests, from local trips to further out. Because we are in Polo View, we get a lot of people walking in while they are out doing their shopping or errands. We prefer it that way. It’s better to talk to someone face-to-face than just sending emails back and forth. Our team is small, mostly just family and a couple of friends who know the travel business. We don't have a polished corporate image. We just know which roads are open and which hotels are actually decent. We spend a lot of our time making phone calls to drivers and checking on bookings. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak season, but we manage to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in town. We just want to do a decent job for the people who trust us with their plans. If you drop by, you’ll likely find us drinking tea and looking over maps or schedules. It’s a practical, local business. We live in Srinagar and we know how things work here, which is why we stay in this old building.
