Kashmir Travelport

Kashmir Travelport is up on the 4th floor of the Khan Building. We are located in the Chanpura area of Srinagar, zip code 190001. Walking up to the 4th floor every morning is quite a workout, but you get used to it after a week or two. From up there, you can see a bit more of the neighborhood than you can from the street. Chanpura is a lively place with a lot of shops and people going about their business. Our office is where we handle all the travel arrangements for the people who come to see us. We have files all over the desks and the phone rings pretty often throughout the day. It’s a basic setup. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big decorations or fancy furniture. We just need a place to sit and work on the computer. Srinagar is a busy city and being in the Khan Building puts us right in the middle of all the action. We spend our hours talking to families or solo travelers who want to go out to the mountains. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the weather or the local news while we drink tea. Other days we barely have time to eat our lunch because there is so much to do. That is just how the travel business goes for us. We don't have a big corporate team, just us here in Chanpura. It's just a regular office life on the 4th floor.
