Kamran Tours & Travels is located at Abi Guzar, right on The Bund in Srinagar. It is actually a very nice spot because you are close to the river and can see the old wooden architecture of the city. Our office is a small room where we keep all our records and handle the daily travel bookings. We do a lot of work with tourists who want to see the valley, so we are often busy arranging houseboats and taxis. It is not a fancy job. It involves a lot of sitting around waiting for the phone to ring and then rushing to get everything sorted when it does. We have been operating from The Bund for quite a while now. We know all the local boatmen and drivers in the area. We do not use any promotional language or try to act like we are a huge company. We are just a local team that knows the ins and outs of Kashmir travel. Some days are very long, especially in the summer when the city is full of visitors. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work. It is a simple life and a simple business. If you walk by Abi Guzar, you will see our sign and probably hear us talking to someone about the best way to get to Gulmarg.
