Heavenly Kashmir

Our place is located in Asai Bagh, right opposite Hotel Darul Salam and very close to the Dargah Hazrat Bal. It's a beautiful part of Srinagar, a bit away from the main city rush but still busy in its own way because of the shrine. We’ve been operating Heavenly Kashmir from here for a bit. It’s more of a personal thing for us than a big business. We love this area and we know all the little corners of the valley that don't always show up in the big travel books. Our office is small and we usually have some tea ready for whoever drops by. We spend our days planning routes for visitors and making sure the vehicles are ready to go. Sometimes we have to deal with the typical problems like bad weather or road repairs, but we just handle it as it comes. We aren't fancy people. We just use our local knowledge to help folks see the mountains and the lakes. Most of the people who work with us are from the neighborhood. We don't have a big polished presentation. We just tell you what's possible and what's not. Being near the Dargah gives the place a peaceful feel, and we like that. We just keep doing our work, day by day, making sure our guests are taken care of in a simple, straightforward way.
