Gowaytrips

Gowaytrips is based in Building Number 3 over in the Khayam area of Srinagar. We’re quite close to Khyder Hospital, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The office is just a regular room where a few of us sit and handle travel plans. We aren't a huge company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group trying to help people see the sights around here. Khayam is a busy part of the city, and our building is right in the thick of it. We spend most of our time on the phone with hotels or checking on transport for the next day. It’s honest work, though it can get stressful when the tourist season is at its peak. We don’t use any special marketing talk. We just tell people what the prices are and what they can expect when they head out to the valleys. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit to get back to the computers, but that’s just life here. We’ve been doing this for a while and we know most of the local vendors and drivers by name. It’s a community thing as much as a business. We just want to make sure people get their trips sorted without any unnecessary drama. Our door is usually open, and there's almost always someone drinking tea and looking at a map.
