Flying Fleet

We are up on the second floor of the Safina Complex here on H S H Street in Srinagar. It's a busy part of town and sometimes the stairs feel a bit steep after a long day. We've been at this spot for a while now, just handling the day-to-day things that come with running a travel business like Flying Fleet. Outside, you can hear the traffic on H S H Street pretty much all the time, and there’s always people moving around the complex. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we sit down and get the work done. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at schedules, trying to make sure everything lines up for the people who come to see us. It gets cold in the winters, so we usually have the heater going and some tea ready. People find us easily enough because the Safina Complex is a known landmark in this part of Srinagar. We don’t really go in for big speeches. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and start working through the list of tasks. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is nice when things get quiet. It’s just us here, doing what we do in the middle of the city's hustle. We might forget to tidy the desk, but the work gets done anyway. We’ve been here a good while and like the rhythm of H S H Street.
