Distant Holidays Tours & Travels is on the ground floor of the Sheikh Building. Our office is right on Khanyar Road in Srinagar. We are very close to the J&K Bank, so that is usually the easiest way for people to find where we are. We are not a massive company with a lot of different departments. We are just a small team working out of this ground floor space. It is actually quite convenient being on the lower level because people can just walk straight in from the sidewalk without needing to find any stairs or elevators. Khanyar Road is a very busy street, so there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside our windows. We do most of our work over the phone or on our computers, but we still like it when people stop by to talk in person. The office is simple and does what we need it to do. We keep our schedules on the wall and keep our files organized as best as we can. It gets a little bit dusty sometimes because of all the cars passing by outside, but that is just part of being in the city. We have been at the Sheikh Building for quite some time now. Most people around here know where the bank is, so they know us too. We just run our travel business and try to keep things moving.
