Destination India Travel Centre

Our place, Destination India Travel Centre, is located in Ward Number 2 in Dalgate. It’s part of the Smc Ward No 2 area, which is a busy part of Srinagar. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who decided to start a travel center here in our own neighborhood. We spend our days talking to people who want to see different parts of the country. Dalgate is a good place to be because everyone passes through here eventually. Our office is simple. We have some chairs for people to sit while we look up prices or check schedules. We don't use any slick marketing tricks. If a trip is going to be long and tiring, we tell people that. We think it’s better to be upfront. We’ve learned a lot over the years by just listening to what people want. We know the local roads like the back of our hands, and we know who to call when someone needs help. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office or expensive uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Most of our day is spent making sure the details are right so there are no surprises later. It’s steady work and we enjoy being part of the Dalgate community. We hope to stay here for a long time.
