Dal Lake Tours And Travels

We are set up in Room Number 10 over at the City Tower Complex. That’s right at Khayam Chowk, just across from the Khyber Medical Institute. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of noise and movement outside. Our office at Dal Lake Tours and Travels is a modest space where we handle all sorts of travel arrangements. We’ve been in this building for a while now. Most people come to us because they want to see the lake or head up into the mountains. We don’t do anything too fancy. We just book the cars, sort out the rooms, and try to make sure the schedules work out. Khayam Chowk is famous for its food, so we usually have the smell of kebabs drifting in during the evenings. It’s a lively place to work. We aren't a big chain; it’s just a small team of us who know Srinagar inside out. Sometimes things go wrong with a booking or a flight gets delayed, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just the nature of the business. We use old notebooks and a few computers to keep track of everything. It’s practical work. We don’t promise the world, we just try to help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the hallways of the tower get crowded, but we're always in Room 10.
