Chapri Travels

You can find Chapri Travels right on Boulevard Road in Dalgate. We are directly opposite Ghat Number 9. It’s a very easy place to spot because of the boats and the constant activity by the water. Our office has been here for years. It’s a small space, but it serves us well. We spend our time looking out at the lake and talking to people who come by. We handle travel plans for all sorts of folks. Dalgate is the heart of the tourist area, so there is always something going on outside our door. We aren't a fancy business with suits and ties. We’re just regular people who live and work by the lake. Our desks are usually covered in papers and tea cups. We talk to the shikara pullers and the hotel owners every day. It’s a tight-knit community here. We do the work of booking tours and organizing transport. It’s not always easy, especially when the season is busy, but we make it work. We don't have a big marketing department. People just see our sign across from the ghat and walk in. We tell them what they need to know about getting around. The office can get a bit cramped when there are a few of us inside, but we don’t mind. It’s a good place to be. We’ve seen many changes on Boulevard Road, but we’re still here doing the same work. We keep things moving for everyone who stops.
