We are located at Hotel Babu near Khayam Chowk. It’s a good spot, right by the J&K Bank. Khayam is known for its food, so there’s always a good smell in the air around here. Bright Horizon Tours And Travel isn’t a massive operation. It’s just a local office where we handle travel bookings. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound like a big travel agency from the city. We’re just local people from Srinagar. We help with getting cars for sightseeing and booking trips to places like Sonamarg or Gulmarg. We know the drivers and we know the roads. Sometimes things don't go perfectly, like a tire getting flat or a road being closed, and we just deal with it as it happens. We try to be practical. If you want a trip that isn't overly complicated, we can usually help. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want to make a living helping people see the beauty of our home. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We're usually here all day, so people can just drop in whenever they need a hand with their travel. Being near the bank makes it convenient for our guests too. We’ve spent many years understanding the travel business in this valley.
