August Holidays Tour & Travels

We set up August Holidays Tour & Travels in Shahi Hamdan Colony, over in the Eid Gah Rathpora area. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main markets, which we like. It feels more like home. We’re not a huge company with fancy uniforms. It’s just us working out of this neighborhood. We mostly help families and small groups who want to get around Srinagar and the rest of Kashmir. We know the streets around here like the back of our hand. It’s important to us that people get a fair deal and actually get to see the places they want to visit. We don't have a marketing department writing stuff for us. We just talk to people like they're our neighbors. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we still get the work done. We handle things like car rentals and figuring out where it’s best to stay depending on the season. If you come by, it’s a very informal vibe. We’ll just sit and chat about your plans. We started this because we like travel and we know this valley. It’s not more complicated than that. We just want to make sure your trip goes okay without any unnecessary drama. The colony is peaceful and we have good neighbors. It’s a different side of Srinagar that most people don’t see right away. We like that we can offer a bit of that local perspective.
