Gangotri Beauty Parlour

Gangotri Beauty Parlour is located inside the Dda Sfs Flats in Sector-12, specifically in Pocket-I, number 428. It’s a small space, but we have made it work for us over the years. Since we are right in the middle of the residential area in Dwarka, most of our customers are just the women who live in the nearby flats. It’s a very local feel. We have a couple of chairs, some mirrors with little lights around them, and shelves full of different creams and bottles. It’s never really quiet here because there is always someone coming in for a quick eyebrow threading or to get their hair done for a family wedding. We talk about everything from the weather to what’s happening in the market. It’s more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We don't have any fancy signs on the main road; people just know where we are by word of mouth. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use hand fans while we wait for the generator or the light to come back. It is just the way things go. We take pride in the fact that we know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s a simple parlour, and we like keeping it that way because it makes everyone feel at home when they visit.
