Deepti Beauty Parlour

We are over here at Rzh 4 7 B in Mahavir Enclave. It is right in the Bengali Colony area near Dwarka and Palam. The shop is not huge but it gets the job done for the local ladies. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and dusting off the mirrors. You know how dusty it gets around here. Deepti Beauty Parlour has been at this spot for a while now. We have the usual chairs and all the thread and creams tucked away in the drawers. People from the colony just walk in when they have a wedding or just need a quick trim. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise but we just deal with it. It’s a busy street outside so there is always some sound of horns. We keep the water heater ready for when someone wants a hair wash. The tiles on the floor are a bit old but we keep them clean. It’s mostly just us working through the day, drinking tea between customers. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. Just the basic stuff that works. Usually, by evening, the place gets quite full with neighbors chatting while they wait. It feels like a part of the community here in Mahavir Enclave. We see the same faces every month. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit by the door for some air. That’s just how it is. We try to keep things organized but with all the clips and pins, something always ends up on the floor.
