You will find Sumitron Exports over at 27, Community Centre Phase 1. Our office is a bit of a mix between a storage room and a workspace. Since we deal with exports, there are always crates and packing materials lying around. It can get a bit cramped when we have a big shipment going out. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and checking documents. It’s not the most exciting work, but it needs to be done right. There are four or five of us in the office most days. We share a big desk in the middle. The Community Centre area is usually pretty active, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably see one of us taped up in boxes or staring at a computer screen. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us. We don't put up big posters or anything. Most of our business comes from long-time contacts. Sometimes the printer jams when we are trying to finish the manifests, and that’s always a bit of a headache. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things organized amidst all the boxes. The street outside is usually lined with delivery vans waiting their turn.
