Embassy Of Switzerland

Our office is located within the Embassy of Switzerland on Chandragupata Marg in Chanakyapuri. Specifically, we are the Climate Change and Development section, often just called the CCD. Chanakyapuri is a very different part of Delhi, with wide roads and lots of trees, which makes it a nice place to work every day. We don't operate like a regular commercial business. Most of our time is spent on projects related to the environment and helping with development goals. It involves a lot of meetings and looking at reports. The building itself is quite formal, as you would expect for an embassy. We have security at the gates and a lot of protocols to follow. Inside the CCD section, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed while still getting the work done. We work with a lot of different people from the government and various organizations. It’s not about selling a product; it’s about managing these long-term partnerships. Some days the office is quiet with everyone writing, and other days it’s full of visitors. We’ve been at this location for many years, acting as a bridge for these specific international efforts. It’s a steady kind of work. We aren't looking for customers in the traditional sense, just working on the tasks assigned to our section. It’s an interesting place to be because of the global nature of the topics we handle.
