Lakdi Ki Kathi

We are located at Khasra No. 154, right by the DDA Qutab Nursery in Lado Sarai. It’s just off Mehrauli Road. The name Lakdi Ki Kathi basically tells you what we do—we work with wood every day. Our place is more like a messy workshop than a clean furniture store. There are wood shavings all over the floor and the smell of sawdust is always in the air. It’s a bit chaotic, but that's just how it goes when you're making furniture or custom wood pieces. We aren't some big factory with huge automated machines. Most of what we do is by hand or with simple power tools. We have a small crew of guys who really know their way around a piece of timber. Lado Sarai is a place where a lot of artistic and craft stuff happens, so we fit in pretty well. The nursery nearby makes it a bit greener than most industrial spots, which is a nice change of pace. We don't have a catalog or a fancy showroom for people to browse. Usually, people come in with an idea of what they want, and we see if we can build it for them. Sometimes it takes longer than we thought, especially if the wood isn't drying properly. We just take it day by day. We don't do much on social media. We just let the work speak for itself and hope people like what we make.
