Laaj International

Our place is over at A-2 in the Naraina Industrial Area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s mostly trucks and warehouses and people moving fast. Laaj International has been operating out of this spot for a while. It’s not the quietest neighborhood, that’s for sure. There is always some machine running nearby or a horn honking from the main road. We have a decent-sized space here where we handle all our international business. Most days are spent on the phone or checking through piles of paperwork on the desks. It gets pretty hot in the warehouse during the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day long. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a group of people making sure the orders get out on time. The floor is concrete and a bit scuffed up from moving crates around constantly. We don't have a reception area with fancy chairs or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of sorting through a shipment or arguing with a delivery driver about a late pickup. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet throughout the day. We take our breaks when we can find a quiet moment, usually sitting on some of the packing crates near the back door where there’s a bit of a breeze coming through. That’s pretty much the reality of working in an industrial zone like Naraina every day.
