Aggarwal Gift & Stationery Shop

Aggarwal Gift & Stationery Shop is located at 221 A Ram Leela Wali Gali in Chattarpur. It’s a narrow lane so you have to look carefully to find us. We have been here for quite some time now. We sell basic things like notebooks, pens, and pencils for the local students, but we also have a good selection of gifts for when people have birthdays or other celebrations. The shop is small and it can get quite hot in the summer because the ventilation isn't the best in this alley. I usually have a small fan going behind the counter. Working in Ram Leela Wali Gali is nice because everyone knows everyone else. We talk about the weather or the local news while I'm ringing up their items. Chattarpur is changing a lot but this little corner stays mostly the same. I try to keep the stationery stock full so no one leaves disappointed. Sometimes I forget to order enough blue ink pens and then I feel bad when a kid comes in and I don't have any. It’s just me running things most days. I don't have a computer system, just a notebook where I write down what we sold. It works for me. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi, just a reliable one for the people living right here in the gali.
