Handloom Concepts

Our office is at No. 15 in the A.R.D. Complex, located in Sector 13 of R.K. Puram. It’s a bit of a quieter area compared to the main markets in Delhi, which we actually prefer. R.K. Puram is mostly residential and government offices, so it has a steady, calm feel to it. We focus on handloom textiles and products. The complex is a basic building, nothing too modern or flashy. Inside our space, we have stacks of different fabrics and hand-woven items. It smells like fresh cloth and a bit of floor cleaner. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us who handle everything from taking orders to checking the weave of the fabrics. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working at our desks. There is no fancy lobby or receptionist; you just walk in and we are right there. We like the tactile nature of what we do. Touching the fabrics and seeing the colors is one of the things we like doing. We have been in this spot for a few years now and have gotten to know the other people in the complex. It is a very normal, everyday kind of workplace. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just like handlooms and we work hard to get them out to people. We try to make sure everything is handled correctly, even if we are just a small team.
