You can find us at 14, Kaushalya Park. Being near the G-Block Market in Hauz Khas means there is always a lot of movement around Dawn Cottage Emporium. It’s a nice area, though parking can be a real headache if you come at the wrong time. We’ve been in this spot for years. The shop itself feels a bit lived-in, but we like it that way. It’s not like those shiny new malls. We have a lot of different items packed in, and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what you’re looking for. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we all know each other well. We aren't really into big marketing pushes. Mostly, we just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for people to wander in from the park or the market. It’s a steady pace. Some days are quieter than others, especially when it rains. We spend those times reorganizing the shelves or just talking. It’s a friendly place. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything, we just sell what we have and try to be helpful to anyone who walks through the door. If you’re ever near G-Block, you’ll probably see us.
