Comma

We're tucked away at 294/3 on Dhan Mill Road in Chhattarpur Pahadi. It's a bit of a dusty road, especially when the wind picks up in the evening. Our space is just a basic setup where we do our work. We go by the name Comma. It’s not a very big place. Inside, it’s mostly just workbenches and some storage shelves that we put up ourselves. We don't have a big glass front or a sign that lights up at night. People usually find us by word of mouth or by getting lost on the way to somewhere else. The neighborhood is a mix of all sorts of small businesses. We spend most of our time just getting the daily tasks done. Sometimes we listen to the radio while we work, but mostly it's just the sound of whatever we're building or fixing. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a hot plate and an old kettle. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes and equipment around. It’s a practical space for practical people. We don't have meetings about goals or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be finished by Friday and we do it. If a tool breaks, we try to fix it ourselves. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We like the quiet of the morning before the rest of the road wakes up. It’s just us.
