Aksai

Aksai is a small business located at shop number 5 in the Dda Shopping Complex in Nanak Pura. This is right in the Moti Bagh area, which is a fairly quiet residential part of the city compared to the main commercial markets. The shopping complex is an older building made of brick and concrete. Our shop is just one of many small units along the open walkway. It is a simple room with some wooden shelves and a basic counter. We don't have any big flashy signs or modern interiors. It is the kind of place where you just come in, get what you need, and head out. We spend our time managing the stock and keeping the shop tidy. There is a lot of green space around Nanak Pura, which makes it a bit nicer than being in the middle of a congested industrial zone. We know most of the other people who work in the complex, so there is a friendly vibe between the shops. We don't do any big promotions or advertising. People mostly find us because they live nearby in the quarters or they’ve heard about us from a neighbor. We keep regular hours and just handle the daily business as it comes. It is a modest operation that fits right into the local community. We like the quiet pace of the shopping complex and just focus on our own work in shop number 5 every day.
