Adroit House

Our office is located at Flat No. 264 in Sector-1, Pocket-1 of the DDA SFS flats in Dwarka. It is a residential area so it stays mostly quiet which is nice for getting things done. We have turned this flat into our workspace and it still feels a bit like a home. There are files stacked on the dining table and the kitchen is mostly used for making tea or coffee for whoever is working that day. The balcony has a few potted plants that we usually forget to water but they somehow keep growing. It is just a small group of us here. We do not have a corporate lobby or a receptionist. If the doorbell rings one of us just gets up to answer it. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway and it gets a bit loud but we do not mind. We know all the security guards at the gate by name. The doorbell has a weird high-pitched chime that always makes us jump when we are concentrated. We have an old lumpy sofa in the corner where we sit when we need a break from the desks. We do not have any glossy brochures or fancy slogans. We just manage our work from these few rooms and try to keep things organized. It is a practical setup that saves us money and keeps things simple for everyone involved.
