Posh English High School

We've been here in the Mas Building in Navelim for a good while now. It's a busy spot in Goa, and you can usually hear the kids from the street before you even see the entrance to Posh English High School. Most people around here know where we are. We've got the usual classrooms and desks, nothing too fancy, just a place for the local kids to come and get their lessons done every day. In the mornings, the hallway gets really crowded with everyone trying to get to their seats before the bell rings. The teachers are mostly folks from around the area who’ve been with us through several terms. We try to keep things organized, but schools are always a bit chaotic, aren't they? There's always a desk that needs fixing or a window that won't stay open right. We just keep at it. During the rainy season, the sound on the roof can be pretty loud, but the students are used to it by now. It’s just a normal school where we do our work and try to help the kids learn their subjects. We don't have a big office or anything like that. If you need to talk to someone, you just walk in and find whoever is available in the staff room. It’s a straightforward setup. We see a lot of families from Navelim and the nearby parts of Goa coming through our doors every year. It feels like a big part of the neighborhood life.
