We are set up in the Devrai Building over in Aquem Alto. Being near Pandava Chapel makes it easy for people to give directions when they are looking for us here in Margao. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, which is actually pretty good when you are trying to focus on technical stuff. Our office is basic. We have a lot of cables and routers lying around the place because that is just the nature of what we do. It can get a bit messy with all the wires, but we know where everything is kept. We usually get in early before the heat picks up too much in the afternoon. The building has its own little quirks, like the occasional power flicker, but we have our backups ready for that. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking various connections on the monitors. It is not a glamorous job at all, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes we step out for a bit to get some fresh air or grab a quick snack from the small local shops nearby. Margao is a busy place, but this part of Aquem Alto feels a bit more relaxed than the main market area. Our workspace has just enough room for the servers and a couple of desks for us to sit at. We do not bother with any fancy decor or expensive furniture.
