Ayodhya(A) on Kolarld Street in Chombala is a quiet part of the world most of the time. The pin code is 673308, and it’s one of those places where everyone seems to know each other’s business. I usually start the day by opening up the shutters and letting the fresh air in. Kolarld Street isn't very wide, so you don't get many big trucks, just the occasional motorbike or bicycle going past. The neighborhood cats often sit on the wall outside and watch the people going to and from the post office. The building we are in has been here for years. It has that old smell of paper and wood that you only get in places that have been around for a while. I spend most of my time at a small wooden desk near the back. There isn't much traffic in Chombala, which is nice because it means I can actually hear myself think. Most of the people who stop by are locals from the Ayodhya area. It’s a slow pace of life, which suits me just fine. I usually wrap things up as the sun starts to go down, making sure everything is locked up tight before heading home down the street.
