Our place is at 255/2 in Padam Nagar. It’s a solid old building that has seen better days, but it serves us well enough for Variscon Engineering Services. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s a small team of us who handle the day-to-day engineering tasks that people in Padam Nagar and the surrounding areas need. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of the fans and the occasional hum of a printer. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us hunched over our desks working on some drawings. We’ve been in this location for a long time, and we know the quirks of the building, like which light switches don't work and how to jiggle the front door lock. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where the actual work happens. We don't bother with big slogans or trying to look bigger than we are. People around here know us as the guys at 255/2 who can help with technical stuff. We just take things one day at a time and try to be as helpful as we can when someone walks in with a problem. It’s a quiet existence here in Padam Nagar, and that’s just the way we like it. We usually pack up and head home by six or seven most evenings when we finish up.
