You can find U. Kaur Inc. over in Malviya Nagar, specifically at R-31, Flat No.-5 on the second floor in Khirki Extension. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi, and our office is right in the middle of all that energy. It’s a flat, so it’s not your typical corporate office. We’ve turned the rooms into workspaces for our design and administrative stuff. It’s a bit tight when we have new fabric deliveries, but we make it work. The stairs can be a bit of a climb, but we don’t mind. We aren't a big, impersonal company. It’s just a few of us here making sure everything runs smoothly. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at sketches. Khirki Extension is a place where a lot is happening, and we like being part of that. We don’t have a receptionist or a big sign outside. We just do our work and keep things simple. Sometimes the street below gets really loud, but that’s just Delhi for you. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or big promises. We just try to get the orders right and keep the business moving. It’s practical, it’s honest, and it’s just how we operate every day from our little spot on the second floor. Every now and then the chai break is the best part of our afternoon.
