Mohit Tyagi

The office here at B 3/1 is just a short walk from the Defence Colony Police Station. It's a handy landmark for people trying to find us since the streets can get confusing sometimes. My name is Mohit Tyagi and I spend most of my days right here in this part of New Delhi HO. The space isn't huge, but it fits a couple of desks and some chairs for anyone who stops by to chat or handle business. Outside, you can usually hear the sirens or just the general buzz of the station nearby. We've got a window that looks out toward the road, and sometimes I just watch the cars go by when things get quiet. It’s a pretty decent spot to work from, even if the parking around here is a nightmare during the middle of the day. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a good bit, so I’ve seen how the buildings change over time. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. There’s a computer, a stack of files that never seems to get smaller, and a small kettle for making coffee. It's the kind of place where you can just walk in and talk to someone face-to-face without a lot of fuss. We don’t do things in a very formal way here, just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized despite the constant phone calls and the paperwork that keeps piling up on the corner of my desk.
