Our shop and workspace is at K-28 in the Central Market area. We are on Alankar Road in Lajpat Nagar-II. If you’ve ever been to Lajpat Nagar, you know it’s a whirlwind of people and colors. We fit right into that. We make and sell shawls. It’s something we’ve been involved with for a long time. The space is filled with fabrics of all kinds, and there’s always that specific smell of wool and textiles in the air. We don't have a corporate office or a floor of managers. It’s just us and the items we produce. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and checking the weave of the cloth. Customers come in looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it in the piles we have. Some days the market is so crowded you can barely move, but we like the energy. It keeps us on our toes. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big marketing campaigns. The shawls usually speak for themselves when people touch the fabric. It’s a lot of manual work, packing things up and sorting through new stock. We’ve stayed in this same spot because the locals know us here. It’s a practical business built on years of just showing up and doing the same thing every day. We don't try to be something we aren't.
