Sustainable Enginnering & Farming Alliance Pvt Ltd is tucked away on the ground floor of S-196 in Panchshell Park. It’s a much quieter area than some of the other business districts, which we actually quite like. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. We have a lot of maps on the walls and folders full of engineering plans scattered across the desks. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to looking over technical drawings. We deal with farming systems and engineering, so there’s always something new to figure out. Sometimes we have samples of soil or small parts of irrigation gear sitting on the shelves next to our coffee mugs. The light comes in nicely through the front windows during the afternoon. We don't have a big corporate setup with a security guard or anything. You just come to the door and one of us will let you in. We spend a lot of time talking about how to make things work better in the field. It’s a practical kind of job and we don’t feel the need to dress up in suits. Usually, we are just in our regular clothes, trying to get through the pile of work for the week. The park nearby is a good place to walk when we need a break from the screens.
