S.K. Engineering

S.K. Engineering is located at E 203, Hari Nagar. It’s near the Tanki Road and Jaipur Road in the Badarpur area. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't familiar with the bypass roads. The area is always dusty because of the heavy traffic on the main roads. Our workshop is right there on the ground level. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor. The sounds of grinding and welding are pretty much the soundtrack to our day. Tanki Road is a landmark everyone knows around here. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the door. Inside, it’s all business. There are stacks of metal and old machinery everywhere. We don't have air conditioning, just some big pedestal fans that move the hot air around. It’s a tough environment but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Being near Jaipur Road means we see a lot of transit traffic. Sometimes things get backed up and it takes forever for materials to arrive. We just take it as it comes. No one here wears a suit. We wear heavy boots and clothes that we don't mind getting grease on. It’s a real place where real work happens. We don't try to pretend to be anything else. We are just S.K. Engineering at E 203.
