Sbec Sugar Ltd

Sbec Sugar Ltd is located up on the 15th floor of Modi Tower. Nehru Place is always a bit of a chaotic area with all the people and cars, but once you get inside the tower and take the elevator to 1502-A, things quiet down a little. We have a view of the city, though we don't spend much time looking out the windows. Most of the day is spent on phones or computers dealing with the sugar business. It’s an office environment, so there are files everywhere and the usual hum of the air conditioner. Nehru Place is a central spot, which makes it easy for people to reach us, but the parking is usually a headache. Our office isn't one of those modern, glass-walled places you see in magazines. It’s just a regular workplace with desks pushed together and stacks of paper that need filing. We deal with the supply side of sugar, so there's a lot of coordination involved. It’s mostly just us keeping track of numbers and making sure shipments are moving where they should be. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and the staff knows the best places to grab a quick lunch downstairs. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the records straight and manage the daily sugar trades from our desks up here in the tower.
