Spice Cafe

Our little cafe is tucked away at 33A in Nangli, Rajapur. If you are looking for us, we are quite close to the Saray Kale Khan bus stop. That means we see a lot of people who are just passing through Nizamuddin East. Prabhanjan Kumar Singh started this place because we wanted a spot where people could sit for a bit. It’s a simple shop. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure the chairs are wiped down. The location near the bus stop means it’s always moving around here. You hear the buses and the rickshaws all day long. We serve what we know how to make. The menu isn't huge, but it fills the stomach. We don't have those fancy coffee machines you see in the malls. It’s more of a neighborhood spot. Sometimes the power goes out and we just light some candles. People don't seem to mind much. We’ve got some regulars who come in every single day for their usual. It’s nice to know their names. New Delhi 110013 is a busy part of town, but inside our doors, things slow down a little. We just do our work and go home at night like everyone else. It’s a honest way to make a living. We keep the tea hot and the snacks ready for whoever walks in next to wait for their bus.
