S. S. Shawls

Our place, S. S. Shawls, is located at S-70 in Greater Kailash-I. It is a nice neighborhood to be in. We have been here for some time now. Mostly we deal with different kinds of shawls. The shop is full of boxes and piles of wool and silk. It is not the most organized place in the world but we know where everything is kept. Being in Greater Kailash-I means we see a lot of local residents coming in. We don't really do much to promote the place. People just know we are at S-70. It is a pretty quiet spot compared to some of the bigger markets. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the shawls and making sure they are stored right so they don't get ruined. It is just a few of us working here. Sometimes we sit and have tea while waiting for the next person to walk in. We don't use any complicated sales talk with people. We just show what we have and let them decide for themselves. The shawls speak for themselves really. It is a steady kind of business. We have seen the area change a lot but we just stay here doing our thing. It is a comfortable place to work. Nothing too fancy or corporate about it. Just a local shop where we sell shawls to anyone who needs one. That is pretty much the whole story.
