Our office for Prithak Construction Private Limited is located at 235A on the ground floor in Village Jaitpur. Badarpur is quite a trek if you are coming from the main city, but this is where we have settled. Being on the ground floor is lucky because we do not have to deal with elevators or long flights of stairs when we are moving equipment or files around. We spend most of our time looking over site plans or talking to the crew. There is a big wooden table in the middle of the room where we spread everything out. It is usually covered in tea stains and pencil marks. Jaitpur has its own rhythm, and we have become part of it over the years. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic construction management and keeping track of our projects. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to step outside to get a better signal on our phones. It is a straightforward way of working. No one wears a suit to this office; we just wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. Badarpur can be a tough place to navigate, but we know the shortcuts by now.
