Vatika

Our place is in Sangam Vihar, specifically at L-1St 69 A. If you know Delhi, you know Sangam Vihar is a maze of narrow lanes and a lot of people. We’ve been here for a good while now, operating under the name Vatika. It’s not a big fancy office park. It’s just a building in a crowded street where we do our daily work. The morning starts with opening the shutters and getting the computers warmed up. It gets pretty loud outside with the street vendors and bikes passing by, but we don't mind it much. We handle all sorts of small tasks here. Sometimes it’s paperwork, sometimes it’s coordinating things over the phone. We have a small crew and we’ve all known each other for years. The walls have some marks from moving furniture around, and the chairs are a bit old, but they’re comfortable enough for a long day. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells snacks at the corner. It’s a bit of a climb if you’re not used to the stairs. We just keep our heads down and get through the work that needs doing. It’s a busy life here in New Delhi-110062. We don't change much around here, we just work and go home.
