Khush Shoppe

Khush Shoppe is a little place we have over at 74/3 in Chattarpur Enclave. It’s tucked away in Chattarpur, and we’ve been serving the people in this neighborhood for a while now. We sell a bit of everything, the kind of things you realize you need at the last minute. The shelves are usually packed quite tight, and sometimes it’s hard to find what you want without asking us. We don’t mind, though. We like the chat. The shop isn't part of any big chain; it’s just ours. We open early and stay open until quite late most nights. You’ll see the light from our window when the rest of the street is getting quiet. We don’t spend money on advertising or big signs. People just know we are here. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a few minutes, and the neighbors complain, but we try to be quick about it. It’s a busy little spot and there is always something to do, whether it’s checking the dates on the snacks or sweeping the front step. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand. It feels more natural that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the locals have a place to get their daily bits and pieces without any fuss.
